For a lot of people Sun Bay Beach is as far as they get! Without a rental jeep, this is the beach you can walk to from Esperanza. Some, the more adventurous, walk further and reach Media Luna and Navio, but most are content to stop here. Sun Bay is the only beach with any facilities. Presently there are guards and a parking lot, the bathrooms and showers are working. The cafeteria in the building by the parking lot is surprizingly good.
