The Ocean is always calm here and the water is shallow for a long way out. A very relaxing beach, the best there is for small children. Not much to see snorkeling, past the sandy bottom the eel grass extends way out into the mouth of the bay.

There is a little bit of coral and sea fans at the mouth of the bay by the rocks but the waves are usually breaking over the rocks and snorkeling there is tricky. There are better places to snorkel.
